I have dined at Striped Bass over the years and consistently find the cuisine appealing and of high quality. However, last Saturday evening, I experienced marginally competent service and a general arrogance that severely detracted from the quality of the dining experience. The restaurant staff rationalized the disappointing treatment as a byproduct of a busy Saturday night, but that excuse further illustrates the need for more training and an overall higher level of professionalism.
